Langley, BC – The Coastal Tsunami gave the Langley Trappers a run for their money in tonight’s game with chances going both ways, but penalties proved costly for the Tsunami.
The game was tied at one going into the second period, and the Trappers were only favored 2-1 after the second period, but Langley scored two power-play goals in the third period to secure the victory.
Three of Langley’s four goals came on the man advantage from Riumin (8), Coopman (1), and Howe (3). Ryan Howe (2) scored the game-winning goal and would later score again. Anthony Domagola (2) had the only goal of the night for the team from the Coast.
The Tsunami went zero-for-two on the power play and three-for-six on the Penalty Kill.
The club is back in action tomorrow in Chilliwack.
