TSUNAMI GEARING UP FOR PINK IN THE RINK ON FRIDAY

Tsun

On Friday, October 18th, the Tsunami will host their first-ever Pink in the Rink game, inviting the community to honour those affected by cancer.

The Tsunami’s October record stands at 2-2, with a recent 2-0 victory over the Langley Trappers on October 12th. While every game is important, this one carries extra significance.

Hockey goes beyond mere entertainment; it fosters connections, cultivates friendships, and teaches us the values of hard work and perseverance. It promotes teamwork, encourages the receiving and applying feedback, and enhances community involvement through fundraising initiatives.

On Friday, hundreds will gather to celebrate our beloved Canadian pastime and join forces in the fight against cancer—a battle that affects us all.

“We are proud to host Pink in the Rink on Friday. This cause resonates deeply with us, as nearly everyone has been impacted by cancer in some way,” said Giancarlo Nadeau, Director of Marketing, Media, & Sales for the Coastal Tsunami.

Friday’s match promises to be a fantastic evening of solidarity for our loved ones, showcasing the strength of our community. The Tsunami players will take to the ice with pink tape, and fans are also encouraged to wear pink.
