Giancarlo Nadeau

Sunshine Coast, B.C. – General Manager and Head Coach Brad Wingfield announced today that the Tsunami has acquired 2007-born forward Oliver Nottingham (New Westminster, BC) from the Grandview Steelers in exchange for a player development fee and future considerations.

Nottingham (6’0”, 175 pounds) spent the past season with the Grandview Steelers, scoring four goals and recording 17 assists for 21 points in 47 regular-season contests.

The left-shot forward played in all but one regular-season game with the Steelers. He will bring valuable PJHL experience to the Coast.

“We are very happy to be able to acquire Notter. He’s going to be a big player for the Tsunami. He’s a player mature beyond his age. He will play in all situations for us and be relied upon heavily,” said General Manager and Head Coach Brad Wingfield. “We get a complete player and leader and are excited to add a quality person and player,” he added.

The organization would like to welcome Oliver to the Coastal Tsunami.
